Riippuvuudet

What does Riippuvuudet include?

Riippuvuudet supports everyday recovery: 3 paths, 12 tasks, 14 exercises, a weekly plan, support card, journal, gratitude list and contacts for human support. Tasks and exercises include guidance and personal notes.

How to move forward

Start with how you feel. Seek human support straight away if needed. Then try one path task, plan a small action for the week and record your day and, if you wish, its good moments. This order is a suggestion: return, skip or repeat.

  1. Right now
  2. Human support
  3. My path
  4. My week
  5. My day
  6. Gratitude today

Included in Hyvinn membership. No separate app fee.

Hi, how are you?

What do you need right now?

Your choice is not saved. You can go directly to human support.

One small step is enough to begin. You can ask someone to stay with you now.

One safer action

Choose one if it fits your situation:

Asking for help and resting are actions, too.

An optional pause

You may delay a decision and move somewhere safer. A timer is not treatment; you can ask for help before it ends.

05:00

Choose the path that helps today

Choose the path that fits your situation today. You can switch between all three paths at any time and move at your own pace, without time limits. A setback does not erase your progress.

Your pace

A mark means “I tried it”. It does not measure your worth or recovery.

Life continues · Your pace

Plan only what helps

Choose something that matters, one possible action and one moment of rest. You can change the plan or leave it blank.

A gentle weekly check

What helped? What took energy? What will I continue, reduce or postpone? You do not have to answer now.

Four weeks at your own pace

Repeat, skip or change these weeks. They do not measure sobriety.

My support card

Write only what helps. Text is saved in this app on this device only when you choose Save. You can delete it any time.

Where are you seeking support?

Choose a region to see relevant options. Riippuvuudet does not detect your location.

Immediate danger: call your local emergency services. Riippuvuudet does not know the emergency number in your country. If stopping alcohol or sedatives after heavy or prolonged use, ask a clinician about a safe plan; withdrawal can be serious.

Search by country and topic. Availability, language and hours differ by location.

Someone you trust

You could start with: “I'm having a hard moment. Could you stay with me or talk for a while?” You decide whether to send it.

Your data

No account, ads or analytics. Your chosen path and marks stay in this app on this device's local storage. Your support card, weekly text, task notes and exercise notes are saved only if you press Save. Your journal and earlier quick-support note are also included when you download or delete all data. Clearing browser data also removes them. External links open other organisations' websites.

Data is not encrypted by the app. Someone using the same browser may see it. It does not sync between devices or get sent to us.

What Riippuvuudet does

Riippuvuudet offers self-directed everyday support for adults. It does not diagnose, monitor you, give withdrawal instructions, replace treatment or contact emergency services for you.

Your direction, your pace

Move toward the future you hope for at your own pace. Lasting change takes time. A hard day does not erase your progress.

You can reflect on these questions privately. This exercise does not record answers.

Past

What have I learned? What do I want to leave behind? You do not need to revisit difficult experiences.

Present

How am I today? What do I need right now?

Future

Where do I want to go? What is one small, possible next step?

Recovery support

One day and one possible action at a time. Choose what helps now. You can skip, adapt or stop any exercise.

You can ask for help with stopping

Stopping suddenly can be dangerous with physical alcohol dependence. If you have withdrawal symptoms, seek medical advice before stopping. This app does not give detox or medication instructions.

Peer support

You can learn about a group and ask how it works before taking part. Peer support complements professional care. Languages and practices vary.

Information and sources

These exercises offer self-directed support, not individual treatment. Background information on alcohol urges and safe stopping:

NIAAA: alcohol urges · NHS: alcohol-use disorder

Past, present and future

Write only what helps. Past, present and future can fit in a few words.

Text is saved only when you press Save. Someone using the same browser may see it. You can delete it at any time.

Gratitude today

Name three things you feel grateful for or that brought you joy today. Small things count: a person, warm food, rest, nature or asking for help.

On a difficult day, one small good or neutral thing is enough. You can leave the list empty. You do not have to hide difficult feelings.
